The Hanebutt Group headed by Henning and Heiner Hanebutt is a family-run roofing company in the fourth generation with over 90 years of experience. The company has more than 500 employees, spread across 14 companies and 9 trades at 10 locations. The teams work in the areas of roofing, carpentry, façades, building plumbing, solar, photovoltaics, waterproofing, restoration of listed buildings and building documentation

Hanebutt is Germany's leading provider for all roof and façade work, with major projects throughout Europe. In addition to the main site in Neustadt am Rübenberge near Hanover, there are further sites in Berlin, Hamburg, Kiel and Herbolzheim near Freiburg. Together with a team of roofers, carpenters and planners, the company is pursuing the goal of further expanding its nationwide network in order to be available to customers in the shortest possible time. Over the last 25 years, the company's range of services and portfolio has been steadily expanded and now also includes a prefabricated house company for detached houses and a metal construction company.

In order to secure the future of the trade, Hanebutt has also been operating its own institute for training and further education since 2024 with Tragwerk - a programme for technical education in schools.

Since 2023, the Hanebutt Group has been a shareholder in wir bauen.digital, a ConTech company based in the Rhineland. The start-up offers a cross-trade platform for digital construction documentation.
