Solar - A few quick arguments

"The application process is too complicated."
"The sun doesn't shine enough here."
"My building isn't suitable at all."

We know these and many other statements.
Anyone thinking about switching to sustainable energy generation has actually already made the right decision.

10 facts - that may help you:

  1. Solar energy systems are able to cope with our weather conditions. Despite the "sunny" name, they also work when the sun is not shining brightly.
  2. Solar technology is flexible and does not require as many special site conditions as most other sustainable methods - such as biogas plants, geothermal energy or wind turbines.
  3. Solar technology is modular and can be adapted precisely to requirements and existing structural conditions through the number and arrangement of elements.
  4. Solar technology is versatile. It can be installed not only on the roof, but also on the façade, for example.
  5. Despite the decline in feed-in tariffs, photovoltaics is still worthwhile for self-sufficiency or a well thought-out mix of self-consumption and feed-in.
  6. The installation of all types of solar systems is supported by solar subsidy programmes.
  7. Solar technology works "discreetly" and does not generate any operating noise.
  8. Solar technology can be integrated inconspicuously into the architectural environment to create a harmonious overall appearance.
  9. Commercial flat roof buildings in industry or residential construction are particularly suitable for economically highly efficient system sizes
  10. The energy generated can now be stored so well that you become almost completely independent.

What is photovoltaics?

Photovoltaics generally describes the production of useful energy generated by light energy, i.e. simply the conversion of sunlight into electrical energy using so-called solar cells. What can be found on rooftops in almost every housing estate these days is something that most people will remember from their pocket calculators. Back then, however, the calculator simply switched off as soon as the small solar panel was closed, but now we are not simply left in the dark at home when the sun is not shining and is not providing any visible energy.

Solar power systems, also known as photovoltaic or PV systems, convert solar energy into electricity.

Advantages of solar energy at a glance

1. electricity is produced even in cloudy weather

2. few special site requirements or extra space

3. can be easily adapted to structural conditions using individual elements

4. various utilisation options through electricity and/or heat generation

5. large own use through sale, own consumption and additional subsidy programmes

6. discreet installation and silent operation

  • Cheap electricity - cheaper than from the public grid
  • Safety and security
  • Emergency power/back-up power
  • Sustainable
  • Future-proof
  • Installation options
  • Sustainability
  • Power generation
  • Heating and hot water through heat pumps and heating elements
  • Virtually invisible or more aesthetic than solar thermal systems
  • Can be stored
  • Feed into the general power grid
  • Monitoring of electricity consumption and generation

Sustainability is not only a good way to advertise, the sustainable generation of electricity via PV systems is now unrivalled. Even if your building may have a flat roof where photovoltaics are not necessarily visible from the outside, it is a very good way to advertise and it also presents you as a company in a modern, innovative and respectful light.

Enquiry

Let us advise you on the individual benefits of photovoltaics and storage systems. Hanebutt will be happy to provide you with comprehensive advice on all aspects of energy generation. Together with you, we will also find your favourite object to suit your circumstances. After all, it can be difficult to find the right one and keep track of all the options.

Why is photovoltaics so popular?

Energy with photovoltaics even without direct sunlight

Summer, sun, sunshine. When we think of solar utilisation, our first thought is to generate electricity or heat when the weather is not good. Solar utilisation goes way back to the 1950s and since then has produced a great deal of innovation and developed itself further so that energy can be generated even when the sun is not shining.

Flexibility of solar technology

The flexibility of solar technology means that there are fewer siting requirements for energy generation than with most sustainable methods, such as biogas plants and wind turbines.

Demand customisation of solar technology

As solar technology is modular, the many individual elements can be adapted to individual needs, circumstances and structural conditions as required.

The versatility of solar technology

Until a few years ago, solar cells were only seen on the roofs of a few houses, but today they seem to be everywhere. Even on facades. However, they are not only installed on the roofs of houses, but also on the ends of facades, including charging stations for electric cars. This wide range of services is Hanebutt's speciality and is rarely found on such a scale.

Financial benefits of PV systems

Although feed-in tariffs may have fallen, self-supply of electricity, as well as the mix of self-consumption and feed-in, is still worthwhile.

Longevity of PV systems

Even after 30 years, high-quality solar systems can still reliably generate electricity.

PV systems on facades

Industrial buildings often have large flat roofs, which are ideal for installing PV systems. The position of the sun is also not as relevant on flat roofs as it is on pitched roofs. On the other hand, businesses, trade and industry generally require significantly more electricity for appliances, air conditioning systems, refrigerated shelves and other technical equipment. Purchasing additional electricity can therefore still be a necessary measure. However, self-produced electricity is always cheaper than purchased electricity.

So if you want to maximise sustainable electricity generation, you can also equip the façades with PV systems. There are not yet many providers for this, which is why Hanebutt is a safe bet here.

As examples such as Lidl and Aldi have already shown, such façade installations work unobtrusively and are very lucrative, as they do not necessarily require direct sunlight to be absorbed and subsequently converted into electrical energy. This means that even in cloudy weather, as is often the case in Germany, you can produce a great deal of your own sustainable electricity, which can even be sold and fed into the public grid on Sundays, after work or on other days when you don't use all the electricity yourself.

So if you have any questions about PV systems on façades, please feel free to contact us. We can help and advise you at any time. With Hanebutt, you have a loyal partner at your side, from planning to completion and beyond.

Building-integrated PV systems

If your building does not have a classic flat roof, as is often the case in commercial buildings, you can use PV systems instead of roof tiles when renovating or tiling your roof and save on roofing completely.

Hanebutt also offers building-integrated PV systems. Not only on pitched roofs, but also on flat roofs or façades. The direct integration of such PV systems means that they virtually merge with the surface, giving them an unobtrusive and aesthetic appearance so that you don't have to worry about the external appearance of your building.

Even PV systems built into window panes are now widespread, meaning that intelligent glass fronts can also be combined on your roof or façades. This means that you not only benefit from electricity savings thanks to the already brighter rooms, but also utilise solar energy to generate additional electricity.

With such variants, aesthetics and benefits go hand in hand.

Major projects at Hanebutt

Hanebutt can also go big! We don't just advertise, we also deliver! Thanks to our own company size and Germany-wide service, we coordinate ourselves in such a way that we can not only be booked for large projects, but are also designed for them.

As soon as you register a business and also deal with emergency situations and reliability, an important point is always the power supply in the event of outages. Maybe you've already had a bad experience and lost valuable time at work because the power went out unexpectedly, or maybe you're just thinking well into the future.

With Hanebutt at your side, you have peace of mind and can still get your electricity even if the normal power fails.

Hanebutt also offers you externally managed load management, which means that power peaks are capped and therefore fewer losses are incurred. However, you are welcome to contact us again personally on this subject.

Maintenance contracts with Hanebutt

Maintenance is right and important! And necessary in business! A reliable power supply must be guaranteed so that you are not suddenly left in the dark, your servers do not crash and all your data and documents are not lost and you can carry out your day-to-day business properly every day. To ensure this, we recommend maintenance contracts from Hanebutt.

With our maintenance contracts, you can decide for yourself at what intervals you would like to have your system checked. However, the intervals should not be too long and should also be regular so that the solar energy can be utilised reliably and comprehensively.

Our maintenance contract not only includes servicing all parts of the PV system, such as the storage system and the individual modules, but also repairing them or replacing inverters, for example, if damage becomes apparent.

However, it is important to remember that maintenance is a fundamental issue and should not be underestimated.

Contact us now and, with Hanebutt, utilise solar energy reliably, sustainably and with a clear conscience and invest in the future.

Solar energy - good for the climate and your wallet

Solar energy may have been very expensive in the past, but today it is actually the cheapest method of generating electricity when installed correctly. Basically, it can be said that there is almost nothing to be said against solar energy generation, as it not only saves costs but also protects the climate at the same time. And what could be better than earning money in a morally correct way?

Solar energy generation is therefore a sustainable solution for consumers and the environment and promotes sustainable mobility and creates innovation.

FAQ

Photovoltaics produces electricity, solar thermal energy produces heat. Photovoltaics and solar thermal energy are technical processes for generating energy (solar energy) from the light or radiation of the sun. In principle, solar energy can be understood as both heat and electricity.

We would be happy to advise you on this. At Hanebutt, we are experts in the field and can advise you on making the right decision for your individual needs.

Typically, a photovoltaic system costs

In principle, small systems are more expensive than large systems, which is why it makes sense to look at the difference in detail and also take a forward-looking approach, but here too Hanebutt will be happy to advise you on what ultimately makes the most sense for your individual situation.

For a precise and individualised cost calculation, simply make an appointment with us and together we will work out the costs for your PV system.

With a storage system of 5-7kW, costs of €6,000-€8,000 can be expected. For a larger storage system of around 10kWp, the costs are more likely to be between €18,000 and €26,000. The complete system including a 10kWp storage system is then around €41,5,000 - €55,000 and €8,000 to €10,000 for a smaller storage system, depending on the circumstances.

For an exact and individual cost calculation, simply make an appointment with us and together we will work out the costs for your PV storage system.

Solar power from a photovoltaic system is cheaper than electricity from the grid. This means that a PV system is worthwhile in any case. With PV systems, you benefit fundamentally from more control and awareness when consuming electricity, cheaper electricity, selling electricity to the public grid, a clear conscience when consuming electricity, independence and much more.

Storage systems for photovoltaic systems can certainly be retrofitted, but not every PV storage system is suitable for this.

With full roof occupancy, the subsidy amounts to approx. €150 per kWh up to a maximum of €1,500. With additional battery storage, the subsidy is also €150 per kWh of usable storage capacity.

Money plays a major role, especially when it comes to upgrading issues around the house, we are often faced with huge sums of money. When it comes to subsidies for photovoltaics, you are in good hands with Hanebutt. We are familiar with all the options for subsidy programmes and will be happy to advise you on your personal system and savings opportunities.

Installing a wallbox at home or in the garage to charge your car is definitely worthwhile! Not only is charging your car much faster than using a normal socket, wallboxes also save a huge amount of money compared to public electric charging stations. In addition, self-consumption of electricity from PV systems is much more financially worthwhile than selling it when feeding it into the grid.

If you integrate your wallbox into a smart home or have an app for it on your mobile phone, you can even find out exactly at what times of day there is so much energy currently being produced that you can plug in and charge your car completely free of charge.

Hanebutt will be happy to dismantle and dispose of your solar thermal system. If required, we can then install a PV system with heating rods and sector coupling or heat pumps.

Please do not hesitate to contact us. We will provide you with comprehensive advice at any time.
